Symmetry Floral Tonic Essence 500ml

 

On warm summer evenings, what could be better than a fragrant floral drink? Symmetry’s Floral Tonic, when diluted in sparkling water, contains a quarter of the sugar of regular tonics, leaving you with a beautifully balanced and fragrant drink. For a refreshing non-alcoholic option, add 50ml of tonic with 150-200ml of soda water.

Each tonic essence is made from whole botanicals with a minimal sugar content and has no artificial preservatives. Take a look at Symmetry’s Spice Tonic here and see their zest citrus tonic here. All three essences have 18g/100ml of sugar. Which, after dilution makes a drink of approximately 4g/100ml.

Symmetry Floral Tonic is brewed from lavender, chamomile and leaves from the pungently fragrant Rose-scented Pelargonium. This indigenous plant is found in the cooler mountain areas of the Cape, prized for its beautiful musky rose scent. Capture a glimpse of the Cape on your palate by simply adding soda water…

This product is simply pasteurised. Refrigerate after opening and consume within a month. A harmless sediment may occur. Serve on its own or with delicate and floral gins; vodka, Agricole rum or tequila. Garnish options: Lime zest – Cucumber – lavender – star anis – Spekboom

Ingredients:

Water, cane sugar, lemon, rose-scented pelargonium, lavender, chamomile, lemongrass, cinchona, ginger

1 bottle makes 20 single servings.

• Spirited: Equal parts tonic essence and Gin over ice (eg 50ml each), topped with 2-3 parts of carbonated water and garnish.
• Non-alcoholic: 50ml of tonic essence over ice topped with 150ml of carbonated water to taste and garnish.
