Lemon Cordial by No. Land Farming

No. Land Farming is a small artisanal business that promotes urban farming across the Western Cape. This agritech startup and social enterprise connects with homeowners who have fruit trees with surplus fruit in their gardens as well as local markets, where they collect and produce artisanal products such as their delicious olive tapenade, lemon cordial and olive oil. Their lemon cordial pairs perfectly with a gin and tonic and is delicious with soda water.  Add some of the mixture to your favourite fridge tart or make granadilla and lemon ice lollies for the kids.

Co-founders Claudia Jones and Wandile Tshabe are dedicated to reduce food wastage. With conventional farming becoming unsustainable due to climate change, this shared-economy concept wants to bring farming closer to cities on a scalable micro-level, with little or “no land.” If you have a fruit tree please contact claudiaj@nolandfarming.co.za.
