This biodegradable sponge helps to let us get away from using synthetic household products and back to using natural fibers which fit into the overall ecosystem. The yellow part is made of natural wood cellulose, which is soft and very absorbent. The other side is made with coconut fibers which works great for scrubbing tough messes. It works just like a regular sponge, but lasts so much longer and is much more durable. After a month of lots of dirty dishes, your sponge will still be fresh and odour-free!

This biodegradable sponge is absorbent so you don’t have to continually add dish soap to it, since the sponge nicely retains it through the washing process. It is great in the kitchen for washing dishes and gently scrubbing pots and pans. It will not scratch pans, but is abrasive enough to get food off. This natural sponge can also be used outside of the kitchen and is great for scrubbing bathtub rings! Tip: Cut in half to get twice the use.

While this sponge is currently more expensive than the plastic green sponges we are all used to using, it is equivalent to, if not better than, the quality and performance of standard sponges and will reduce waste into landfill.
