This beautiful, non-greasy blend of cold-pressed oils absorbs easily and is an all-purpose formula that will suit all skin type. This face and body oil combines the healing, regenerative power of kalahari melon seed and hemp with calming macadamia nut, jojoba and grapeseed and the all-round goodness of anti-inflammatory organic sunflower seed. It is lightly fragranced with a touch of geranium, chamomile and lavender – all three gentle yet powerfully therapeutic oils that balance, soothe, moisturise and rejuvenate all types of skin.

Packaging
The Apothecary ethically makes their products by hand in Cape Town. This oil comes in a beautiful 100ml amber bottle with cork lid. Every used glass container can and should have a second life. Please reuse your empty bottle.

I have very dry and rather sensitive skin which is highly reactive to a lot of products. I was a little nervous about switching over to using oil rather than cream, but the results so far have been very satisfactory. The oil is light and non-greasy, and you need such a little bit to cover the face. It absorbs into the skin without leaving an oily sheen, and it smells divine! My boyfriend has used it after shaving, which left his skin soft, supple, and soothed from stinging. I have applied my makeup straight after using the oil, and it didn’t slide off my face. It also works nicely for dry areas on the body, like the elbows and knees.

I am so glad I tried this! My granny used to believe in applying oil to her skin but the Vitamin E Oil she used has been discontinued. I tried Silken Skin Oil on a small burn from cooking – and it has healed really well without scarring so far. My skin is also smooth, soft and not super oily when applied. I think this would fall in the category of what magazines call cult skin products!
