Easy to care for, simply rinse immediately after use when out and about, and clean with your straw cleaning brush once home. You could also shake in a jar of warm, soapy water. Dry properly after washing in a drying rack or leave them in the sun. Every month or so sterilise with vinegar in boiling water.
They are 100% biodegradable and compostable.

The best thing about these straws is the gentle feel on the mouth. They aren’t hard or cold on the lips like metal and glass straws tend to be. Unfortunately, however, they do not last as long. The unpolished wood can swell and split after a few months of use and washing. The other con is that they take a long time to dry. On the whole, though, they are comfortable, a good length and circumference, and always better than plastic straws!
