This aromatic wood, found in the Ecuadorian dry forests, is known in Spanish as “holy wood.” The tree belongs to the same family frankincense and myrrh.

Soul + Space’s Palo Santo is harvested from sustainable sources as part of a reforestation project in Puerto Lopez and is only made from trees that have died naturally.

Through this reforestation project, these Palo Santo trees generate oxygen and employment for the local people. The trees are distributed to local schools, colleges, institutes, the Municipality of Puerto Lopez and the Machalilla National Park.
