Shampoo bars are an excellent green choice because they eliminate the need for a plastic bottle as well as the need for chemical preservatives needed in liquid shampoos. Take a break from conventional shampoos, do your hair a favour and try this deeply moisturising and conditioning solid shampoo bar. The benefits of a shampoo bar are numerous…
Shampoo bars are concentrated, solid, good stuff – like coconut oil, castor oil, virgin olive oil and rich butters like shea and cocoa that nourish and feed your hair. Nourish shampoo bars are biodegradable and therefore a wonderful choice when you are camping and washing up in fresh water lakes and streams.
Nourish shampoo bars have the same base recipe. They’re great for curly hair, but in general they’re good for all hair types. The differences are the additions which are personal choice. Beer adds volume and shine to hair and it also encourages hair growth. The herbal bar shampoo bar is enhanced with lavender and tea tree for mild cleansing of the scalp for conditions like dandruff. Lavender is also healing and nourishing for sensitive scalp.
If you’ve never used a solid shampoo bar in your hair, you may wonder “how do I do use a shampoo bar?” It’s easy. Just get your hair wet, take the bar and rub it all over your scalp and down the shaft of your hair if you have long hair. Put the bar down and work it into a wonderful lather. Rub a dub dub. Super rich, with loads of fluffy lather, natural ingredients gently clean the hair without stripping away natural protective oils.
We recommend removing your solid shampoo bar from your shower in-between uses so it can dry out and last as long as possible. Looking for a shampoo bar for your furry friend? Take a look at our pet shampoo bar here.
