Lelive Save Our Skin – Peach and Aloe AHA/BHA Exfoliator

 

Lelive Save Our Skin is an exfoliating serum that contains a blend of AHAs and BHAs to renew and soothe the skin. This beautiful product has more than one use. Use as a night-time resurfacing treatment (up to three times a week) to refine texture, combat hyperpigmentation and target blemishes. It can also be used as a spot treatment to quickly deal with acne redness and to calm down inflammation.

This community-first, clean beauty brand developed a range of skincare products that are unisex and suitable for all ages and skin tones. Lelive’s products are great for numerous skin types and concerns, but please note the Lelive Save Our Skin Exfoliator is not recommended to be used if you have sensitive skin.

Media personality and business woman, Amanda du-Pont, founded Lelive in 2020. Her social media community played an important role in the range’s formulation and even helped to decide on the packaging. Made mostly from aluminium, it was voted as the packaging of choice by Lelive’s largely South African audience due to its recyclability. The use of plastic has been avoided wherever possible.

The products are made with clean, natural ingredients and are reef safe, vegan, cruelty-free and dermatologist-tested. Amanda is a Greenpeace Ocean Ambassador and is really passionate about the planet and us being more careful about conserving what we have for the future of our children. She says, “It’s important that we realise that our actions today will reflect what our future is. What I love about our packaging is that it’s aluminium. We could’ve gone plastic which is cheaper, but we would be harming the planet.”

How to use Lelive Save Our Skin

Begin by using 2 – 3 nights a week and build up to using more frequently. Add 3 – 4 drops onto your skin after cleansing. Then tap, tap, tap and let the magic happen while you sleep.

If you suffer from oily skin that’s prone to breakouts and the hyperpigmentation, or dark spots which they leave behind – this is the routine for you:

In the morning wash your face with Lelive’s Jelly Splash, pat the All Glow’d Up Brightening Serum into the skin and apply Lelive’s tinted spf 30 (broad spectrum) moisturiser. In the evening, wash your face with Lelive’s Cleaner Colada and use the Jelly Splash as your second cleanse to give your skin a deeper clean. Apply your All Glow’d Up or Lelive Save Our Skin (up to three times a week) ahead of your Crème de la Cream. Bonus: since Lelive’s products are great for numerous skin types and concerns, this routine also works well on warmer days when you don’t need a lot of moisture.

The use of plastic has been avoided wherever possible, but the Lelive Save Our Skin reusable aluminium bottle comes with a dropper that contains some plastic. This packaging is so stunning and no waste is necessary. Only nine percent of all plastic waste ever produced has actually been turned into something that we were then able to use again. Please reuse your empty bottle.
