Your hair’s natural moisture may be restored to the point where conditioner isn’t even required after a few washes using shampoo bars; otherwise use one of our conditioner bars packed with hair-boosting ingredients. Using a solid shampoo bar is also a cost-effective way to wash. You can expect just a single bar to last at least twice as long as the bottle!

These shampoo bars, packaged in a cardboard box, are great for wavy hair, but in general they’re good for all hair types. The differences are the additions which are personal choice. The Citrus shampoo bar is also good for oily hair because of the lemon essential oil. Peppermint essential oil in the Activated Charcoal bar would stimulate the scalp too as well as the caffeine in the ground coffee in the Mocha bar. The Mocha shampoo bar is not for platinum blondes!

Saponified coconut oil, mica, blend of essential oils: sweet orange, lime, lemon, benzoin, patchouli
Mica is natural colourant and this mineral is commonly used in cosmetics and makeup. Benzoin is an essential oil, similar to frankincense. which is steam distilled from a resin. It is commonly used in perfumery and is excellent for the skin because of its powerful antiviral and antifungal properties. Benzoin is steam distilled from the sap resin of the Styrax benzoin tree.

Short hair: Simply rub on your scalp to lather and wash as usual.
Long hair: Lather between hands and then add to scalp or rub bar straight onto hair with downwards movements to avoid tangling your hair. Rinse and wash again if needed. Follow with a conditioner bar (if needed).
We recommend removing your solid shampoo bar from your shower in-between uses so it can dry out and last as long as possible. If you’re left with small pieces, save them to make your own liquid shampoo from a shampoo bar and to get more bang for your bucks. Our easy homemaking trick is to place the small pieces in a reusable container with warm water and stir a few times throughout the day. Then simply let the pieces soak in water for a day or two. You’re now left with liquid shampoo instead of throwing away the last remains of your soap bar.

I love the activated charcoal shampoo bar. I was very surprised to see how well it foams. I’ve heard mostly negative things about shampoo bars, like that they make your hair dry and tangly, but this one doesn’t do that. I will definitely buy it again!

The mocha is my favourite by far. I’ve been using shampoo bars for about 3 years now and tried so many options – this is my favourite one. The citrus smells great but it makes my hair feel a bit dry. Mocha is the way to go for hair that tends to frizz a bit.

For my first shampoo bar I bought the Mocha bar. I love the smell of real cocoa powder and coffee beans!
The shampoo bar was easier to get used to than I thought – I get my hair and the bar wet, then I rub the bar along my scalp in three short lines. After this I wash my hair like normal and foam appears as if by magic!
My hair is just as clean, shiny and soft as when I used other shampoos that cost more! This is a must buy!
