Reusable Face Wipes that Empower Victims of Human Trafficking

(1 customer review)

Not I But We is a social enterprise in Cape Town that employs survivors of human trafficking. They make reusable face wipes with shweshwe, reusable bowl covers, hair scrunchies from fabric offcuts, zero waste lip balm tins made with organic ingredients and more. This dignifying work provides holistic restoration for these women which helps them thrive in their reintegration and transition to independent living. These incredible artisans are so courageous, determined and creative. Some of them have now been able to buy their own sewing machines with the money they earned making scrunchies and have started their own small businesses making bags and more.

Not I But We works with women from the S-CAPE safehouse where survivors receive physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual care. If you’d like to make a donation or volunteer read more here to see how you can help take action.

These reusable face wipes are made by hand from shweshwe and microfibre. Wipe across your face to gently remove makeup and reveal clean, glowing skin. Then toss it in the wash. The set of eight includes one for each day of the week (plus one for laundry day 😉).

Purchase the set of 8 for R160 or one for R25. Every purchase supports S-CAPE and provides dignity, justice, hope and healing.

Very happy with this product, they are a great replacement to cotton rounds. I have non-waterproof mascara and by using warm water and soaking the eyes for a short time, the mascara just wipes off. They wash well in the machine too.
Supporting this cause is amazing too.
