Coconut Bowls

 

Upcycled coconut shells that would have been discarded as waste, were given a little love and turned into beautiful eco-friendly coconut bowls that you can eat from. Each bowl holds 300-500ml, but as this is a natural product, variation in size and colour may occur.  You’ll love your bowl, because aren’t we all unique?

We have two variants available – ‘unpolished’ and ‘polished’. Both variants had the coconut’s fiber removed and were sanded. Our ‘polished’ coconut bowls had coconut oil applied to them and are more ‘shiny’ and hydrated. These bowls are from Vietnam whereas our unpolished bowls are from Mozambique. If you’d like to hydrate your unpolished bowls add some coconut oil onto a cloth and polish your bowl inside and out.

Care instructions

-Rinse your coconut bowls in room temperature water before use.
-Do not use with extremely hot foods.
-Hand wash with lukewarm soapy water.  Do not use in the dishwasher or soak for a long period of time.  Dry properly after washing.
-Do not expose your bowl to extreme heat and do not use in the refrigerator, microwave, oven or dishwasher.
-Polish your bowl with coconut oil as often as you like to rehydrate your bowl and restore its smooth finish.  We recommend every 10 or so washes.
